About Christine Taylor
Christine Taylor served for 15 years in the IT trenches as a systems administrator. After one too many times crawling around under someone's desk, she decided to start writing about computers instead.
She made the change from systems administration to technical journalism, serving as editor-in-chief for Storage Management Solutions and Storage & Government, and as senior editor for Computer Technology Review. This was a tremendous improvement over crawling under desks, but after 3 years of a punishing commute she started her own copywriting business. Today Christine's targeted copywriting captures valuable leads for data storage and networking vendors.
Christine's lead generating marketing copy includes white papers, trade journal articles, press releases and case studies. She also helps companies develop key marketing messages for strategic marketing campaigns and, as an experienced journalist, writes media Q&A's for executives on tough technology and business issues.
Christine's subject expertise includes mass storage hardware and software, disaster recovery and business continuance, messaging applications and data warehousing. She credits her IT and journalism training for her ability to write clear, correct and compelling marketing copy for the technology industry. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Westmont College, and an M.A. from Fuller Seminary.
Christine has written successful lead generating copy for technology companies such as EMC, Sybase, CommVault Systems, Fujitsu, Rainfinity and Quantum. She has also written winning copy for companies like Fujitsu, Tumbleweed Communications, DataDomain and STORServer.
Christine lives with her son in Wrightwood, a little jewel of a town perched in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California.
